Great Jobs for People with Disabilities Methodology
All hourly wage data displayed on these pages comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Standard Occupational Classification.
All job specific data points come from the Department of Labor's Occupational Information Network (O*NET), which has occupational experts answer questions about each job. Their answers are then compiled to assign traits a score out of five for each job. The jobs in the disability resource are ranked in ascending order for each specific trait.
Manual research was conducted to filter out jobs that were found to be inappropriate or inaccessible to persons with disabilities. Manual research was also conducted to provide up-to-date information on the intellectual disability, learning differences, and frequently asked questions sections.
